International Society is a community of internationally minded people working or living in the  Herning & Ikast-Brande areas. We share our experiences on how to overcome cross-cultural barriers and help newcomers to integrate faster into our community.

The society organizes activities for international workers and their family members, students, international Danes, local companies and anyone else who is open to becoming a part of an international social network.

Main Goal- Integration
International Society's main goal is to create a broad social network for the international residents in the Herning & Ikast-Brande  areas; to bridge the gap between the international citizen, the municipality, the workplaces, and the community at large.

International Society's Main Strategy
Our Main Strategy to encourage our goal of integration is the planning of regular events that bring people together as part of the International Society.

Our goal is that all events include a "pre-venue" where we gather the group together to talk and share experiences of interest to international residents.
