Do you find yourself looking for something to do in the middle of the week?
Do you miss seeing your international friends in between International Society Events? And do you
wonder what the Danes are talking about when they use the word "HYGGE" so often?
If you answered "YES" to any or all of these questions, then meet us at FOX and HOUNDS in Herning
every Wednesday between 17.00 and 19.00 for "Wednesday's Hygge".
Some communities have HAPPY HOUR, but here in Herning, Denmark, we have WEDNESDAY'S HYGGE!
But WHAT is it?? It is a chance for those of us in International Society to meet together mid-week and "hygge sig"....which basically means "hang out together and enjoy each other's company in a cozy atmosphere".
And what is more cozy than a good old Scottish pub in good old Herning?!
Fox and Hounds is offering Danish beer specials to our group every Wednesday from 17.00-19.00, but you are, of course, welcome to come and enjoy a Cola Lite as well! The point of these evenings is to have something to do in the middle of the week with our international friends.
You don't need to sign up....just show up! All that is required is that you have an "International Society Card" in order to get the drink discounts. Kelli will hand these out at the first few Wednesdays so you can carry it in your wallet for future events.
WEDNESDAY'S HYGGE starts next week on 12 October and continues .... EVERY Wednesday!
We hope to see you there!
